IronTally — Privacy Policy

IronTally is a workout tracking app developed by Port City Creations. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data Collection

No data is collected. IronTally operates entirely on your device.

  • No analytics or telemetry
  • No advertising or ad tracking
  • No account creation required
  • No data sent to Port City Creations servers
  • No workout data shared without your explicit action

How the App Works

IronTally stores your workouts, exercises, and settings locally on your device. All data processing — workout logging, rest timing, history tracking — happens on-device.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your workout history is synced across your devices using Apple’s CloudKit infrastructure. This data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy . Port City Creations never has access to your iCloud data.

iCloud sync is optional. The app works fully without it.

HealthKit

IronTally can optionally read from and write to Apple Health. This access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time in Settings. Health data is handled according to Apple’s HealthKit guidelines and never leaves your device through IronTally.

Data Storage

All data — workouts, exercises, settings, and history — is stored locally on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, a copy is stored in your personal iCloud account.

Third-Party Services

IronTally does not communicate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Port City Creations has no servers and never receives your data.

The only external services IronTally connects to are Apple Health and iCloud — both optional and only activated by you. Data sent to these services is managed entirely by those platforms. To manage or delete that data, use the respective service’s settings directly.

Children’s Privacy

IronTally does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date.
