IronTally — Support
Getting Started
How do I log a workout? Tap the Workout tab and tap Start Workout. Add exercises using the + button, then log your sets as you go. Tap the checkbox on each set when it’s done. When you’re finished, tap Finish Workout.
How do I use a previous workout as a template? In the History tab, open any past workout and tap Use as Template. This starts a new workout pre-filled with the same exercises and set structure.
How do I create a custom exercise? Tap + during an active workout, then tap Create Custom Exercise at the bottom of the exercise picker.

| Reps × Resistance | Band exercises, cable work |
| Time × Resistance | Banded holds, cable isometrics |
| Time only | Bodyweight holds, cardio intervals |
Features
Rest Timer After checking off a set, a count-up timer appears automatically so you can track how long you’ve been resting. Toggle it on or off in Settings → Workout.
Live Activity When the rest timer is running, a Live Activity appears on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (supported devices) showing the current exercise and elapsed rest time.
Apple Health Sync With IronTally Pro, you can sync completed workouts to the Apple Health / Fitness app. Enable it in Settings → Apple Health. Each workout is saved as a Strength Training activity and contributes to your Activity rings.
iCloud Sync Your workouts sync automatically across all your devices via iCloud. No setup required — just sign in to iCloud on each device.
Import / Export
Back up your workout history or transfer it to another device via Settings → Data. Exports create a .irontally file you can share via AirDrop, Files, or email.
Themes With IronTally Pro, choose from six accent color themes in Settings → Appearance → Theme. Steel and Iron are free; Ember, Forest, Midnight, and Gold are Pro.

- Custom themes — four premium accent color options
To purchase, tap any locked feature in Settings or go to Settings → Appearance → Theme.
Already purchased? Tap Restore Purchases on the Pro paywall sheet to restore on a new device or after reinstalling.
Troubleshooting
My workouts aren’t syncing to Apple Health. Make sure IronTally Pro is purchased and Apple Health sync is enabled in Settings. Check that IronTally has Health permissions: iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → IronTally.
iCloud sync isn’t working. Check that you’re signed into iCloud on your device (iPhone Settings → [your name]). The sync status is shown in IronTally Settings → iCloud. If it shows a warning, try toggling iCloud off and back on in device Settings.
The rest timer Live Activity isn’t appearing. Live Activities require iOS 16.2+ and must be enabled: iPhone Settings → IronTally → Live Activities. The timer only starts after checking off a set during an active workout.
I accidentally deleted a workout.
Deleted workouts cannot be recovered from within the app. If you have an iCloud backup or a previous .irontally export, you can restore from that.
The app is slow or crashing. Force-quit the app and relaunch. If problems persist, contact support with a description of what you were doing.
